Instructions

  1. Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque.  Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
  2. Using a CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 2-3 coats of FN-001 White to the canvas. Allow to dry.
  3. With a pencil and AC-230 Clay Carbon Paper, trace on pattern.
  4. Outline the pattern with a Black Fine Tip Waterbased Marker.
  5. Using the AC-213 Sponge on a Stick load half the sponge with SC-27 Sour Apple and the other half with SC-74 Hot Tamale, tap onto the ST-367 Leafy Border Stamp then press the stamp gently onto the canvas.  Continue stamping around the canvas. Allow to dry.
  6. Using a CB-110 #10/0 Liner, load the brush with SC-95 Pinky Swear, and tip the brush with SC-74 Hot Tamale, to vary the flower petal colors.  Brush some petals with just the SC-74 Hot Tamale apply 2 coats.
  7. Using a CB-106 #6 Script Liner, apply 2 coats of SC-27 Sour Apple to the leaves and fill in any spaces in the flower left with SC-27 Sour Apple.
  8. For the leaves and stem, use CB-106 Script Liner to load the brush with SC-27 Sour Apple, and side load with SC-74 Hot Tamale, then stoke in the leaves, use a smaller brush for the stem. Allow to dry.
  9. Use SG-401 Black Designer Liner to outline, and to write in the word Orpine. Allow to dry.
  10. Apply Clear Glaze of Choice.
  11. Stilt and fire to shelf cone 06/05.
