Other Mayco glazes not specifically formulated for raku firings are featured in the image reference below. A raku casting slip was used to create the vase shapes. The vases were bisque fired to cone 06. The pieces were glazed, fired to 1800° F, and then reduced using newspaper as the combustible material.
