  1. Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque.  Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
  2. With a pencil and AC-230 Clay Carbon Paper, trace the pattern onto the Clay Canvas.
  3. Outline the pattern with SA-002 Black Accent.
  4. Using a CB-106 #6 Script Liner and a RB-144 #4 Soft Fan, apply 2 coats of FN-221 Milk Glass to the background and the centers of all the flowers.
  5. Using a RB-144 #4 Soft Fan, apply 2 coats CG-753 Sassy Orange to the two largest flowers, and CG-756 Firecracker to the tallest flower. Make sure to mix the crystals well into the glaze.
  6. Using a CB-106 #6 Script Liner, apply 3 coats of the following colors to the flowers: SC-35 Gray Hare to the bottom flower, SC-75 Orange-A-Peel to the part overlapping the large flower on the left and SC-78 Lime Light to the section below the center; SC-9 Jaded to the flower on the right and SC-75 Orange-A-Peel to the area that overlaps the flower above.
  7. Using a CB-106 #6 Script Liner, apply 2 coats  of SC-15 Tuxedo to the stems.
  8. Using a AB-834 ¾” Base Coat Brush, shade the background with SC-91 Seabreeze leaving some white showing. Follow the direction of the flower shape, as brush strokes will show.
  9. Stilt and fire to shelf cone 05/06.
