Groovy Mushroom Layering Plate and Bowl

Instructions

Begin with soft fired stoneware bisque; moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
Fill the writer bottle with SW-125 Purple Mint and assemble the bottle with the metal tip.
Lightly sketch on a mushroom design using a pencil. Squeeze the SW-125 Purple Mint from the bottle directly onto the bisque surface.
Use a CB-106 #6 Script Liner to fill in any mushroom heads with 2 coats of SW-125 Purple Mint.
Use an RB-144 #4 Soft Fan to apply 2 coats of SW-125 Purple Mint to the rim and back of each piece, avoiding the foot.
Use an RB-144 #4 Soft Fan to apply 2 coats of SW-110 Oyster to the entire piece, avoiding the foot.
Use a clean sponge to wipe the excess glaze off of the foot.
Fire to cone 5/6 (sample was fired to cone 6).
