Tropical Teal and Engobe Bowl

Instructions

  1. Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque. Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust. Do not oversaturate the bisque with water.
  2. Using a Soft Fan Brush, apply 2 coats of EG006 Sparkle Black Engobe to the outside of the bowl, including the bottom.
  3. Once the “shine” is off the Sparkle Black Engobe, lightly buff the piece to expose the “sparkle” in the engobe.
  4. With a Soft Fan Brush apply 2 coats of SW224 Tropical Teal to the inside and outside of the bowl.
  5. Apply 2 coats of SW169 Frosted Lemon to the inside and outside of the bowl using a Soft Fan Brush
  6. Do not stilt. Fire to cone 6.
