Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque. Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
With a #4 Soft Fan Brush (RB144) apply 3 coats of UG003 Baby Blue to the center of the mug, starting about 3” down from the rim, and stopping just above the foot of the mug.
Apply 2 coats of SW224 Tropical Teal to the top 3” of the mug along with the entire inside of the mug, the handle and the bottom foot of the mug using a #4 Soft Fan Brush.
Apply 2 coats of SW156 Galaxy over the Tropical Teal using a #4 Soft Fan Brush.
Using a detail bottle or small syringe, apply SW424 Blue Melt Gloop and SW420 White Melt Gloop to the mug where glaze and underglaze meet.
Wipe excess glaze off the bottom of the mug.
Do not stilt this piece, but the piece may be placed on a cookie or piece of soft brick, in case the Melt Gloop runs.
