Instructions

  1. Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque. Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust. 
  2. Apply 3 coats of FN304 Black Velvet Matte to the top and bottom of the plate. Apply with a RB144 Soft Fan.  
  3. Lay down the ruff side of the transfer paper over the plate, then put down the pattern of the planets over top.  
    1. Trace the pattern of the planets with a pencil.  
    2. Remove the transfer paper and the pattern once you are done tracing.  
  4. At the top of each planet first apply 3 coats of SC045 My Blue Heaven. Apply with an AB704 Round Brush.  
  5. In the 2nd row of the two larger planets apply 3 coats of SC024 Dandelion. Apply with an AB704 Round Brush. 
    1. In the 3rd row apply 3 coats of SC089 Cutie Pie Coral. Apply with an AB704 Round Brush.   
    2. In the 4th row apply 3 coats of SC087 Ruby Red with an AB704 Round Brush. 
    3. In the 5th row apply 3 coats of SC031 The Blues with an AB704 Round Brush. 
    4. In the 6th row apply 3 coats of SC058 501 Blues with an AB704 Round Brush. 
  6. In the 2nd row of the smaller planets apply 3 coats of SC105 Tic Tac Turquoise with an AB704 Round Brush. 
  7. In the 3rd row of the apply 3 coats of SC011 Blue Yonder with an AB704 Round Brush. 
  8. In the 4th row of the apply SC031 The Blues. Apply with an AB704 Round Brush. 
  9. In the 5th row of the apply SC058 501 Blues. Apply with an AB704 Round Brush. 
  10. With a pencil draw line that curve away from the planet then over top to make the planets look like it has rings.  
  11. Apply SG408 Orange Designer Liner over the lines. Apply one coat.  
  12. Only apply S2101 Clear over top of the SG408 Orange Designer Liner. Apply one coat using an AB704 Round Brush.  
  13. Allow to dry and fire to cone 06.
