Instructions

  1. Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque. Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust. 
  2. Apply 3 coats of FN304 Black Velvet Mette to the top and bottom of the plate. Apply with a RB144 Soft Fan.  
  3. With a pencil draw on 4 circles, 2 full circles and 2 half circles.  
    1. For the 2 lager circles take a sponge and apply SC024 Dandelion to one side. Apply 2 coats.  
    2. Right next the SC024 Dandelion apply 2 coats SC087 Ruby Slippers, then take your sponge and dip half of the sponge in SC024 Dandelion and the other half on SC087 Ruby Slippers. Apply the sponge in the middle of both glazes to blend the two glazes.  
    3. Repeat steps A and B with SC087 Ruby Slippers, then SC031 The Blues, and last SC045 My Blue Heaven. 
  4. For the 2 small planets repeat the same process as the lager planets but apply SC045 My Blue Heave first then SC105 Tic Tac Turquoise, and last SC031 The Blues.  
  5. With a pencil draw curving lines away from then over the planets to make the planets look like they have rings. 
    1.  Apply SG408 Orange Designer Liner over the lines. Apply one coat.  
  6. Only apply S2101 over the SG408 Orange Designer Liner.  
  7. Allow to dry and fire to cone 06.
