Instructions

  1. Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque. Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust. Do not oversaturate the bisque with water.
  2. With a #4 Soft Fan Brush (RB144) apply 2 coats of SW172 Macadamia over entire piece.
  3. Apply 2 coats of SW191 Peppered Plum to the top ½ of the outside and inside of the spoon rest using a #4 Fan Brush.
  4. With a #4 Soft Fan brush, apply 2 coats SW401 Light Flux inside and outside of the of the spoon rest overlapping Peppered Plum about 2”.
  5. Wipe excess glaze off the bottom of the vase.
  6. Do not stilt.
  7. Fire to cone 6.
