Instructions

  1. Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque. Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
  2. Using SG101 Rapid Roll White, squeeze around ¼ cup into the vase. Quickly roll the vase to coat the inside. Pour out extra glaze and discard. Place the vase upside down on a paper towel for at least 30 seconds to fully drain.
  3. Using RB144 #4 Soft Fan with SP286 Speckled Old Lace, apply 3 coats to the front and back of the vase. Allow glaze to dry between coats.
  4. Squeeze out around 1 Tbsp of SC006 Sunkissed, SC009 Jaded, SC075 Orange-A-Peel onto the palette.
  5. Dip a sponge on a stick into one of the glazes from Step #4. Sponge onto the front of the vase. Repeat with all of the colors until you have your desired number of flowers. Repeat on the back of the vase.
  6. Using FD254 Black Licorice add decorative petals, stems, and leaves to your flowers.
  7. Using RB144 #4 Soft Fan with SC009 Jaded, apply 3 coats to the sides and top of the vase. Allow glaze to dry between coats.
  8. Stilt and fire to cone 06.
