Instructions

  1. Begin by wiping down the bisque with a damp sponge to remove any dirt/dust.  
  2. Apply the pattern to the bisque using carbon paper and a pen. 
  3. Fill in the flowers and leaves with the appropriate Stroke & Coat colors with two to three coats each using the script liner brush. 
  4. When the glaze has lost it’s shine, apply a coat of wax resist over the flowers and leaves. Allow wax to dry. 
  5. Slightly water down SC015 Tuxedo and using the soft fan brush, apply two coats of the glaze over the whole front of the plate. 
  6. Clean any black off the colored parts of the flowers with a damp brush or sponge.  
  7. Using the fan brush, apply three coats of SP286 Speckled Old Lace to the back of the plate. 
  8. Allow to dry, stilt, and fire to cone 06.
