Instructions

  1. Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque. Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust. 
  2. Place the AC230 Clay Carbon Paper smooth side down with pattern on top and In the middle of the plate.  
  3. Trace the pattern of only the tiles and words with a pencil or pen. 
  4. Remove the pattern and Carbon paper. 
  5. Apply 3 coats of SC016 Cotton tail to all 3 of the tiles. Leave the sides of the tiles empty. Apply with a CB106 Script Liner.  
  6. Put SC006 Sunkissed into an AC219 Designer Liner Bottle. 
  7. Repeat step 4 with SC011 Blue Yonder, SC036 Irish Luck, and SC074 Hot Tamale.  
  8. Once SC016 Cotton Tail is dry, apply the AC230 Clay Carbon Paper smooth side down with the pattern to get the design of the tiles. Trace with either a pencil or pen.   
  9. Apply the designer liner bottle with SC006 Sunkissed to the side of the top tile, to a few of the leaves on the bamboo, the panda bear’s face and the work “JOKER” underneath the panda. Apply one coat.  
  10.  Apply the designer liner bottle with SC011 Blue Yonder to the side of the middle tile, to the bird on the top tile, the panda’s body, and the tree branch on the 3rd tile. Apply one coat. 
  11. Apply the designer liner bottle with SC074 Hot Tamale to the side of the 3rd tile and the flowers on the tree branch. Apply one coat.  
  12. Apply the designer liner bottle with SC036 Irish Luck to the bamboo on the first tile and fill in the words “Dot, Crack, Bam”. Apply one coat.  
  13. Apply 2 coats of FN216 Sea Glass to make vertical and horizontal lines in the background to make a plaid design. Apply with a CB308 Flat Shader.  
  14. Apply 3 coats of FN216 to the rim and back of the plate. Apply with a RB144 Soft Fan.  
  15. Allow to dry, stilt, and fire to cone 06.
