Instructions

  1. Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque. Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
  2. Pour some SW305 Cobalt Wash onto your palette.
  3. Mix in small amounts of AC310 Silk Screen medium until your wash has become a paste-like consistency (the wash should not be runny).
  4. Place your DSS0200 Designer Silkscreen Art Deco Daffodil onto the plate with the shiny side down and hold down the screen/keep it in place with your non-dominant hand.
  5. With your dominate hand, begin to apply the wash and silk screen mixture with your fingertips. You will want to evenly buff the mixture through the screen.
  6. Once you have buffed the wash onto the center face of the plate through the screen, remove the silk screen and allow to dry.
  7. Using a CB604 #4 Soft Fan Brush, apply two coats of SW232 Baby Blue Speck to entire face of the plate and the underside rim of the plate (do not glaze your foot ring).
  8. Fire to cone 6.
