Instructions

  1. Begin with properly fired cone 04 bisque. Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust. 
  2. Use a script liner to apply 2 coats of PC-601 Clear Cascade in a 1” band around the shoulder of the vase.  
  3. Apply 3 coats as dots of alternating SW-304 Copper Wash and SC-29 Bluegrass over the Clear Cascade. 
  4. Use a fan brush to apply 3 coats of EL-103 Sea Spray to the bottom section of the vase.  
  5. Apply 3 coats of CC-108 Green Tea to the top section/lip of the vase. 
  6. Allow to dry completely. 
  7. Stilt and fire to cone 06. 
  8. Once fired and cool, apply a stain over the crackle to showcase crackle pattern.
