- Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque. Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
- Apply 2 coats of EG005 Black Engobe on the back and front of the plate with a RB140 Soft Fan.
- Apply 2 coats of SW134 Eggplant to the front of the plate with a RB140 Soft Fan.
- Apply 2 coats of SW193 to the front of the plate with a RB140 Soft Fan.
- Use a round sponge-on-a-stick to apply 2 coats of SW407 Clear Flux.
- Apply as many circles close together that will fit into the face of the plate.
- Using RB106 Script Liner apply one coat of dots to fill in the smaller gaps.
- Apply one coat at the top of the scallops on the rim with a RB106 Script Liner.
- Fire to cone 6.
