Instructions

  1. Begin with properly fired cone 04 stoneware bisque. Moisten a sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
  2. Switch out your Stroke and Cat caps for Plastic Detailer Caps.
  3. Apply 2 rows of “W”s around the rim using SC-33 Fruit of the Vine.
  4. Add SC-29 Bluegrass dots inside the loops.
  5. Allow to dry and repeat.
  6. Apply 3 coats of SW-143 Abalone to the rest of the piece, avoiding the foot.
  7. Use a damp sponge to wipe away any glaze that may have gotten on the foot.
  8. Fire to cone 5/6. Sample piece was fired to cone 6.
