Snowy Tree

1. Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque. Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
2. Stir and shake the EL131 Turtle Shell well.
3. Using a CB604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 2-3 coats of EL131 Turtle Shell to the tree and the base. Allow to dry between each coat! Make sure not to fill in the holes for the lights so they will fit.
4. Stir and shake the SG302 Snowfall well.
5. Using a CB604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 2-3 coats of SG302 Snowfall to the tips of the branches on the tree. Allow to dry between each coat!
6. Make sure to clean out the holes in the tree from any glaze that has gone in them.
7. Stilt and fire to shelf cone 06/05.

Additional Adaptations & Tips if needed.

1. Make sure to shake all products to mix well.
2. The EL131 Turtle Shel lwill have more brown breaking in the glaze finish with only 2 coats. With 3 coats there will be more of the green showing.
3. SG302 Snowfall can be applied with sponge or palette knife.
4. SG302 Snowfall will not turn blue when applied over the EL131 Turtle Shell.
