Stoneware Fluted Pumpkins

Instructions

Cast the mold in usual manner with stoneware slip. Allow to dry. Clean the greenware with a Clean-Up Tool. Bisque fire to cone 04.
Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque. Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
Using the Soft Fan, apply three coats of SW-251 Pink Opal, SW-252 Blue Opal or SW-205 Coral to the pumpkins.
Using the Detail Liner apply two to three coats of SW-182 Antique Brass to the stems.
Fire to cone 5/6. Samples were fired to cone 6.
