Instructions

  1. Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque. Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
  2. Using RB144 #4 Soft Fan with FN001 White, apply 3 coats to the body of the penguin. Avoid the feet and beak. Allow glaze to dry between coats.
  3. Using RB106 #6 Script Liner with SC075 Orange-A-Peel, apply 2 coats to the beak and feet. Allow glaze to dry between coats.
  4. Using RB106 #6 Script Liner with SC015 Tuxedo, apply a dot to each eye.
  5. Using RB144 #4 Soft Fan with SG201 Black Cobblestone, apply 1 coat to the back and wings of the penguin. Wait until the glaze loses its shine, then apply a second coat. Repeat for a third coat. It’s important not to wait until the glaze is bone dry or it could flake off.
