Instructions

  1. Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque. Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust. 
  2. Use your pencil and draw 5 hills that overlap each other, and a circle at the top for the sun.  
  3. On 4 separate plates add 2 parts water to one part glaze for SC002 Melon Choly, SC006 Sunkissed, SC074 Hot Tamale, and SC097 Cant Elope.  
  4. On the sun and one of the top hills place the watered down SC006 Sunkissed glaze in splotches. Use an AB704 Round Brush.   
  5. On only the sun fill in the rest with 3 parts water to 1 part glaze of SC006 Sunkissed. Use an AB704 Round Brush.   
  6. On one middle and one bottom hill place the watered down SC0074 Hot Tamale glaze in splotches. Use an AB704 Round Brush.   
  7. On the 2 remaining hills place the watered down SC0097 Cant Elope glaze in splotches. Use an AB704 Round Brush.   
  8. Now on all 5 hills apply the watered down SC002 Melon Choly to fill in the rest of the splotches. Use an AB704 Round Brush.   
  9. Once dry outline the hills and the sun with SG402 Designer Liner White. 
  10. Apply 2 coats of S2101 Clear glaze the whole inside of the bowl. Using a RB144 Soft Fan Brush. 
  11. On the whole outside of the bowl apply 3 coats of SC080 Basketball. Using a RB144 Soft Fan Brush. 
  12. Once dry fire to cone 06.
