- Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque. Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
- With a #4 Soft Fan Brush (RB144) apply 3 coats of UG2727 Poppy Fields to the top 1/3rd and the entire inside of the bowl.
- Apply 2 coats of UG216 Peach to bottom 2/3rd of the bowl including the bottom using a #4 Soft Fan Brush.
- Using a detail bottle or small syringe, apply SW429 Red Melt Gloop and SW420 White Melt Gloop to the middle of the bowl where the underglaze and the Jungle Gems meet.
Additional Adaptations & Tips
- You do not need to wipe the underglaze from the bottom of the piece. Underglaze does not stick to the kiln shelf
- You do not need to stilt this piece, but the piece may be placed on a cookie or piece of soft brick, in case Gloop runs.
- Fire to cone 6
