Instructions

  1. Begin by wiping down the bisque with a damp sponge to remove any dirt/dust.  
  2. When the plate is dry, transfer the pattern using the AC230 Clay Carbon Paper and a pen.  
  3. Fill in the following areas with three coats of the following colors: 
    1. Elephant adornments: SP289 Speckled Cutie Pie Coral for the main parts of the adornments and accents of SP2105 Speckled Tic-Tac-Turquoise for the trim and dots. Using the CB106 #6 Script Liner brush.
    2. Elephant Body: EL146 Raincloud on the body and EL101 Oyster Shell on the tusks and toes. Using the CB106 #6 Script Liner brush.
    3. Background: SP286 Speckled Old Lace. Use the CB106 #6 Script Liner brush to outline the elephant, and the RB144 #4 Sot Fan brush to fill in the rest of the background. 
    4. Back of plate: EL101 Oyster Shell using the RB144 #4 Soft Fan brush. 
  4. Carefully outline all of the colors and line work with a RB110 10/0 Detail Liner brush and SC015 Tuxedo. 
  5. Allow to dry, stilt, and fire to cone 06.
