Instructions

  1. Begin by wiping down the bisque with a damp sponge to remove any dirt/dust.  
  2. Transfer the pattern onto the plate using the carbon Transfer paper and a pen 
  3. Fill a designer bottle for each of the following colors: SC090 Elephant Ears, SC037 Ivory Tower, SC102 Just Peachy, SC089 Cutie Pie Coral 
  4. In small cups, water down SC101 Spruce it up, SC037 Ivory Tower, SC102 Just Peachy, SC089 Cutie Pie Coral roughly 50/50 water/glaze. 
  5. Create a “Base” on each section of the image with the watered down S&C using the script liner brush. 1 coat each. Fill in the rest of the background and back of the plate with SC101 Spruce It Up.   
  6.  Using the detail bottles, create stitch marks over the sections of watered down color using the same solid Stroke & Coat color. Use a variety of traditional stitch mark designs.  
  7. Outline the individual designs with “stitches” from the detail bottle of SC090 Elephant Ears. 
  8. Dip in clear glaze.
  9. Allow to dry, stilt, and fire to cone 06.
