Instructions

  1. Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque. Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust. Do not oversaturate the bisque with water.
  2. With a #4 Soft Fan Brush (RB144) apply 3 coats of SW119 Cinnabar to the bottom 2/3 of the gourd
  3. Apply 3 coats of SW229 Mood Ring to the top 1/3 of the gourd, overlapping SW119 Cinnabar, using a #4 Soft Fan Brush (RB144)
  4. Apply 3 coats of SW193 Ivy on the stem of the gourd.
  5. Wipe the excess glaze off the bottom of the piece.
  6. Do not stilt.
  7. Fire to cone 6
