E-Z Stroke Drybrushing Tree

Instructions

  1. Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque. Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
  2. In a 2oz Small Cup, mix 10 drops of EZ027 Turquoise and 8 drops of EZ110 Cool Blue. Thin with AS597 Thin N’ Shade if necessary.
  3. Using a CB404 #4 Pointed Round, apply 1 coat of the above mixed EZ Strokes to the snowflakes. Allow to dry!
  4. Using a damp sponge, wipe back the EZ Stroke color leaving it in the crevices of the snowflakes. Allow to dry!
  5. Using a CB202 #2 Detail Liner, apply 2 coats of S2101 Crystal Clear Brushing glaze to the snowflakes. Allow to dry!
  6. Glaze Fire to shelf cone 06.
  7. In a 2oz Small Cup, mix 2oz UG001 Kings Blue and 1oz UG219 Marine Blue.
  8. Using a CB604 #4 Soft, apply 1 coat of the above mix to the tree and base. Allow to dry!
  9. Using a damp sponge, wipe back leaving the color in the crevices of the tree and base. Allow to dry!
  10. Using a DB803 #8 Round, drybrush the tree with EZ028 Leaf Green, then highlight with EZ018 Chartreuse. Allow to dry!
  11. Using a DB803 #8 Round, drybrush the star inside and out with EZ107 Butter and then highlight with EZ101 Neon Yellow. Allow to dry!
  12. Using a DB805 #3 Fan, Drybrush the tree and base with S2101 Crystal Clear Brushing Glaze.
  13. Using a CB602 #2 Sot Fan, apply 2 coats of S2101 Crystal Clear Brushing glaze to the star. Allow to dry!
  14. And using a CB110 #10/0 Liner apply 2 coats of S2101 Crystal Clear Brusing Glaze to the cutout star, hearts, and moons. Allow to dry!
  15. Fill a AC220Detailer Tip and 1oz Bottle with SG302 Snowfall, Apply to the tips of the tree and on the top of the star. Allow to dry!
  16. Glaze fire to shelf cone 06/05.
  17. Using a OB910G #0 Liner, apply gold luster trim on the star, the cutout stars, hearts, and moons. Allow to dry.
  18. Fire to shelf cone 018.
  19. Using a OB901 Mother of Pearl ¼” Shader, apply to the star, the tree and the Snowfall but not on the god areas. Allow to dry!
  20. Fire to shelf cone 020.
  21. Glue in the plastic pin lights.
  22. Insert the pinch plug and light up your tree.
