Retro Halloween Portrait Tray

1. Wipe the bisque tray with a damp sponge. 
2. Apply the pattern directly to the bisque with the clay carbon transfer paper, pattern, and a pen.  
3. Frankie: Apply three coats of SC054 Vanilla Dip to the background of his square. Apply three coats of SC027 Sour apple to his face. Three coats of SC075 Orange-a-Peel to his shirt and bolts. Apply three coats of SC015 to his jacket and hair, and use a detail liner brush to outline with the same color.  
4. Cat: Apply three coats of SP275 Speckled Orange-a-Peel to the background. Three coats of SC015 Tuxedo to the body. Three coats of SC027 Sour Apple to the eyes and bow. Three coats of SC054 to the inner ears. Outline with SC015 and a detail liner brush. Use SC054 Vanilla Dip to create the mouth and whisker lines.  
5. Ghost: Apply three coats of SC015 Tuxedo to the background of the square. Apply three coats of SC054 Vanilla Dip to the body, three coats of SC027 Sour Apple to the hat, SC075 Orange-a-Peel to the hatband. Use the back of a brush to create small dots of color to make the flower in the hat. Use a detail liner brush and SC015 Tuxedo to create the outline, glasses, and mouth.  
6. Frame the outside of the three boxes with three coats of SP227 Speckled Sour Apple. 
7. Apply three coats of SP254 Speckled Vanilla Dip to the rest of the tray. Once that has dried, apply lines over the top with three coats of SC015 Tuxedo using the script liner brush. 
8. Coat the back of the tray in three coats of SP275 Speckled Orange-a-Peel. 
9. Allow to dry, stilt, and fire to cone 06.   

Additional Adaptations & Tips

• Use tape to create perfectly straight lines if desired.
