Silkscreen Gloss Bud Vase

Instructions

Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque. Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust. Do not oversaturate the bisque with water.
With a #4 Soft Fan Brush (RB144) apply 3 coats of SW514 Sage Gloss to the bottom ½ of the vase.
Apply 3 coats of SW515 Aqua Gloss with a #4 brush starting about 2” down from the rim, stopping at the Sage Gloss.
Using a #4 Soft Fan Brush, apply 3 coats of SW502 Yellow Gloss to the top of the outside of the vase, overlapping the Aqua Gloss by about ½”.
On a plate, using a palate knife, mix SW508 Black Gloss with AC310 silkscreen medium. This should have a consistency of pancake batter.
Apply Botanical Leaves silkscreen to the bottom of the vase with the black gloss silkscreen medium.
Wipe excess glaze from the bottom of the piece.
Do not stilt.
Fire to cone 6.
