Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque. Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
Use the pencil to mark off 5 even sections on the rim of the tumbler. There should be 5 pencil marks. Take MC001 Low Tack Masking Tape and place over one of the marks and extend down to the bottom of thetumbler. Repeat 4 more times, one over each mark.
Cut out the flower patterns.
Using the Soft Fan with FN001 White, apply 1 coat to the center of each of the 5 sections. Large enough to fit a flower.
Take a flower and dip the back in water. Place in the center of one of the 5 sections. Press the edges with a damp sponge. This will help keep the edges down. Using the Soft Fan with FN001 White, apply 1 coat over the edges of the flower. Repeat for the other 4 flowers.
Squeeze out around 1 TBS of SP211 Speckled Blue Yonder and SP245 Speckled My Blue Heaven onto the palette. Squeeze out ½ TBS of SP211 Speckled Blue Yonder and ½ TBS of SP245 Speckled My Blue Heaven onto the same spot on the palette. Mix to create a third color.
Using the Soft Fan with SP211 Speckled Blue Yonder, apply 2 coats to 1stand 4thsection. Apply it over the flowers. Allow glaze to dry between coats.
Using the Soft Fan with SP245 Speckled My Blue Heaven, apply 2 coats to 3rd section. Apply it over the flowers. Allow glaze to dry between coats.
Using the Soft Fan with your mixed color, apply 2 coats2nd and 5thsection. Apply it over the flowers. Allow glaze to dry between coats.
After the shine has left the glaze, remove the flowers and tape.
Using the Script Liner with SP211 Speckled Blue Yonder, SP245 Speckled My Blue Heaven, and the mixed color, apply a circle of glaze to the center of each flower. Use a different color than flower color. Repeat for a second coat.
Allow glaze to dry.
Using the Soft Fan with FN211 Sheer Blue, apply 3 coatsthe entire vase. Allow glaze to dry between coats.
