You Are My Sunshine Handprint Plate

Instructions

Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque. Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
Apply one coat of SC013 Graple to a hand using a round sponge on a stick, while the hand is still wet apply the hand to the plate.
Apply 2 coats of FN209 Floral Pink to the bottom and top of the entire plate, apply with a RB144 Soft Fan. Once the shine is gone but not bone dry take a sponge and wipe the glaze away from the top of the sunflower.
Apply 2 to 3 coats of SC024 Dandelion to the pedals of the sunflower, avoid glazing the creases and middle of the sunflower. Apply with a CB106 Script Liner.
Apply 2 coats of dots in the middle of the flower using SC041 Brown Cow.
With a pencil write the phase “You are my sunshine” in bubble letters around the rim. Apply one coat using a SG406 Brown Designer Liner to fill in the bubble letters.
Apply one coat of S2101 over the SG406 Brown Designer Liner with a RB144 Soft Fan.
Allow time to dry and fire to cone 06.
