Instructions

  1. Begin by wiping down the bisque with a damp sponge to remove any dirt/dust.
  2. Using a fingertip, apply two red dots that overlap to create the main body of the apple. Create a cluster of apples at the base of the bowl and a ring of apples around the outside edge.
  3. Using the Detail Liner Brush, add a brown stem to the top of each apple.
  4. To the stem, use a detail liner brush to create one or two small green leaves.
  5. Using the Script Liner brush and the blue glaze, create single coat horizontal and vertical lines to the bottom half and base of each bowl (On the Stroke &Coat bowl, do not apply color to the foot of the bowl). Create single coat vertical, evenly spaced blue lines running to the apples in the center of the bowl.
  6. Using the red glaze and detail liner brush create two thin bands to separate the apples from the blue lines on the inside, and one band on the outside.
  7. Once the glaze has dried inside the bowl, apply two coats of SW004 Zinc Free clear to the entire inside of the bowl.
  8. Allow to dry and fire to cone 6.
