Instructions

  1. Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque. Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
  2. Shake the SG101 Rapid Roll White glaze. Pour enough glaze inside the bottom of the Cup Cake Cookie Jar and roll around coating the inside surface. When all areas are covered, drain any remaining glaze out of the piece, use a small container to collect any excess glaze. Do not reuse this glaze. Leave the piece upside down till all glaze has finished draining out and there is no shine to the glaze.
  3. Repeat the step above for the lid of the Cup Cake Cookie Jar.
  4. With a damp Sponge, wipe any drips of the Rapid Roll glaze on the outside of the piece. Allow to dry!
  5. Using a CB 604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 3 coats of FN005 Pink Foundations glaze to the outside of the bottom of the Cookie Jar. Allow to dry!
  6. Using the MC002 ½” Low Tack Masking Tape, tape every other section of the bottom of the jar. Refer to photo for placement.
  7. Using a CB106 #6 Script Liner, apply 3 coats of FN048 Bright Pink to ever other area that is not taped. When the FN048 Bright Pink losses it’s shine, remove the masking tape to prevent the color from chipping. Allow to dry!
  8. Stir and shake the SG302 Snowfall well.
  9. Using a CB604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 2-3 coats of SG302 Snowfall to the top of the cookie jar and to the frosting area of the bottom of the cookie jar.
  10. Using a CB106 #6 Script Liner, apply 3 coats of SC074 Hot Tamale to the cherry on the top.
  11. Place a small puddle of each of the Stroke & Coat colors on a plate or tile.
  12. Using a 5/8” Sponge on a Stick, apply 2 coats of each color to the Snowfall area leaving space between each color to make it look like candy. Allow to dry!
  13. Stilt and fire to shelf cone 06.
