Pottery Cascades Reformulation: We are pleased to announce that our Pottery Cascade White has been reformulated to deliver improved movement at low fire temperatures. This change was made in response to market feedback regarding restricted movement, as well as the desire to better achieve techniques such as the popular Peacock and Frozen Pond Looks at low fire.
Cone 06 oxidation (large photo): PC-602 White Cascade intermingles with the other glazes being used, introducing pure white to the colors you are using, blending with the color.
Cone 6 oxidation (small photo): Transparent. Color clear with white float.
TIP: Chip shown over EL-118 Blue Grotto. PC-602 White Cascade has a minimum movement and will stay in the pattern that you apply it in.
Pottery Cascade™ are moving, flowing glazes, commonly used under or over other glazes to create reactions and movement. Pottery Cascade™ are commonly used by low-fire designers who seek to simulate effects of higher fire glazes. May be applied randomly or uniformly, brushed or dabbed on with a sponge.
