"Best Dad on Record" Father's Day Plate

Instructions

Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque. Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
Cover the front and back of the plate with 3 coats of SC015 using a Soft Fan brush.
Once dry, take the record pattern and transfer paper and trace the pattern onto the plate.
Use SC016 to fill in the squares and SC029 for every other square. Do 3 coats for each glaze using a Detail Liner brush.
Use SC097 towards the bottom of the fire and SC088 for the top of the fire. Blend the two glazes in the middle. Do 3 coats using a Script Liner brush.
Add a dot of SC015 in the middle of the plate. Do 3 coats using a Detail Liner brush.
Outline the large circle in the middle and add some round lines going halfway round the plate. Do 4 coats of SC016 using a Detail Liner brush.
For the lettering, use a Detail Liner brush and glaze 2 layers of SC016 and then 2 layer of SC097 on top. Allow to dry in between layers.
Once dry, fire to cone 06.
