Instructions

Small Tree:

  1. Begin with properly fired cone 04 bisque. Moisten a sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
  2. Squeeze out around 1 tbsp. of SC-34 Down To Earth onto the palette. Thin with around 1 tsp. of water. Use the Soft Fan to apply 1 coat to the tree.
  3. Using a damp sponge, wipe most of the glaze from the tree, leaving it only in the crevices.
  4. Using the Soft Fan with FN-301 Marshmallow White, apply 3 coats to the large, center section of the tree. Allow glaze to dry between coats.
  5. Using the Script Liner with SC-20 Cashew Later, apply 3 coats to the base of the tree. Allow glaze to dry between coats.
  6. Using the #4 Liner with SC-41 Brown Cow, apply 2 coats to the horizontal wicker ropes going around the tree. Allow glaze to dry between coats.
  7. Using the Script Liner with SC-48 Camel Back, apply 3 coats to the tip of the tree. Allow glaze to dry between coats.
  8. Stilt and fire to cone 06.

Medium Tree:

  1. Begin with properly fired cone 04 bisque. Moisten a sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
  2. Squeeze out around 1 tbsp. of SC-34 Down To Earth onto the palette. Thin with around 1 tsp. of water. Use the Soft Fan to apply 1 coat to the tree.
  3. Using a damp sponge, wipe most of the glaze from the tree, leaving it only in the crevices.
  4. Using the Soft Fan with FN-301 Marshmallow White, apply 3 coats to sections of the tree between the vertical lines. Allow glaze to dry between coats.
  5. Using the Script Liner with SC-20 Cashew Later, apply 3 coats to the base of the tree. Allow glaze to dry between coats.
  6. Using the #4 Liner with SC-41 Brown Cow, apply 2 coats to the horizontal wicker ropes going around the tree. Allow glaze to dry between coats.
  7. Using the #4 Liner with SC-92 Café Ole, apply 2 coats to the verical lines going down the tree. Allow glaze to dry between coats.
  8. Using the Script Liner with SC-48 Camel Back, apply 3 coats to the tip of the tree. Allow glaze to dry between coats.
  9. Stilt and fire to cone 06.

Large Tree:

  1. Begin with properly fired cone 04 bisque. Moisten a sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
  2. Squeeze out around 1 tbsp. of SC-34 Down To Earth onto the palette. Thin with around 1 tsp. of water. Use the Soft Fan to apply 1 coat to the tree.
  3. Using a damp sponge, wipe most of the glaze from the tree, leaving it only in the crevices.
  4. Using the Soft Fan with FN-301 Marshmallow White, apply 3 coats horizontal wicker sections of the tree. Allow glaze to dry between coats.
  5. Using the Script Liner with SC-20 Cashew Later, apply 3 coats to the base of the tree. Allow glaze to dry between coats.
  6. Using the Script Liner with SC-92 Café Ole, apply 1 coat to the background area between the crossed lines on the tree.
  7. Using the #4 Liner with SC-41 Brown Cow, apply 2 coats to the horizontal wicker ropes going around the tree. Allow glaze to dry between coats.
  8. Using the #4 Liner with SC-92 Café Ole, apply 2 coats to the vertical and crossed lines on the tree. Allow glaze to dry between coats.
  9. Using the Script Liner with SC-48 Camel Back, apply 3 coats to the tip of the tree. Allow glaze to dry between coats.
  10. Stilt and fire to cone 06.
