Blue Stroke & Coat and Stoneware Bowls

Instructions

  1. Begin with properly fired cone 04 stoneware bisque. Moisten a clean sponge and wipe the bisque to remove any dust.
  2. Using a fan brush, apply 2 coats of Stroke and Coat to the inside of the bowl.
  3. Using a liner brush, apply 3 coats of SW-401 Light Flux just below the rim.
  4. Using a fan brush apply 2 coats of Stoneware glaze (SW-166 or SW167) to the inside of the bowl.
  5. Apply 3 coats of SW-508 Black Gloss to the rim and back side of the bowl.
  6. Use a damp sponge to ensure the foot is free of glaze.
  7. Allow to dry completely.
  8. Fire to cone 6.
