Crystal Snowflake Tile

Designer: Bailie Benson

  1. Cut paper down to a square the same sized at the tile (6×6).
  2. Fold paper in half diagonally, then in half again. Fold this triangle into thirds.
  3. Carefully cut out accents with scissors and unfold.
  4. Smooth out the creases to keep the snowflake lay flat.
  5. Base coat the tile with two coats of SC-76 with a soft fan brush.
  6. While the second coat is still wet, lay the snowflake over the glazed tile.
  7. Cover the tile and snowflake with a third coat of SC-76 to seal in the paper.
  8. Once the glaze has lost its sheen, apply two coats of CG-788 over the whole piece.
  9. With a toothpick, find and peel up the paper snowflake.
  10. Fire to cone 06.
