Instructions

  1. Begin with soft fired stoneware bisque. 
  2. Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove debris. 
  3. Use a fan brush to apply heavy slaps and drizzles of SW-144 Lava Rock. Tilt and shake the dish to control movement and direction of drips. Let dry. 
  4. Repeat step 3 using SW-128 Cordovan. 
  5. Repeat step 3 using SW-108 Green Tea. 
  6. Check for any remaining visible patches of bare bisque, and cover with heavy slaps of SW-144. 
  7. Dampen a clean BT-910 Synthetic Sponge to wipe away all excess glaze from the foot. 
  8. Fire to cone 5/6. Sample was fired to Cone 6.
