Elements and Stoneware Bottles Fired to Cone 6

Instructions

Begin with soft fired stoneware bisque.
Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
Use a fan brush to apply 3 coats of SW-164 Satin Patina/SW-169 Frosted Lemon to the bottom ½ of the bottle.
Use a fan brush to apply 2-3 coats of EL-123 Patina/EL-124 Stormy Blue to the top half of the bottle. Anticipate lots of movement from these products.
Thin glaze to the consistency of heavy cream and roll the interior of the bottle with a glaze of your choice.
Use a clean sponge to wipe the excess glaze off of the foot.
Fire to cone 5/6. (Sample was fired to cone 6)
